Ballroom is a warm Uterus for me in Zurich. Ballroom is a place of refuge and celebration for Queer people of colours and immigrants in a predominantly white and heternormative world. In the Ballroom, we learn to refine our skills and crafts and learn the values and importance of a chosen family. It means sisterhood, alliance, and power of collectivity. It is too shine to be seen.
